61, of 93-3 West Wooster St., Danbury, died November 15, 1999 at the Danbury Hospital.
Born in Danbury March 26, 1938, she was a daughter of Josephine M. (Greer) LaCava Decker of Danbury and the late Joseph F. LaCava Sr.

Miss LaCava graduated from St. Peter's Grammar School and Danbury High School. In 1974 she received her BS Degree and Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education from Western CT State University. She student taught at Hawley School in Newtown.

Miss LaCava was a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Levy of Danbury for many years. Following that she was employed by the Savings Bank of Danbury and Center Bank in Bethel. For a brief period of time she pursued her teaching career in Australia before returning to Danbury.

Besides her mother, Miss LaCava is survived by a sister, Lorraine Furino of Danbury; a brother, Joseph F. LaCava Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann of Newtown; nieces and nephews, Dianne, Robert, Robin, Jane, Joseph and Shalor; and her best friend, Karen Doutney of Danbury
A Mass of Christian Burial was be celebrated at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
