Fred J.Stevens, 64 of Walker Hill Road, formerly of Connecticut, died at his home on Saturday, November 18, 2000. He was born in Bridgeport, Ct., the son of Fred and Emma (Anderson) Stevens. He was employed at the USG, Gypsum Specialists, and Wallboard Distributors before his retirement in 1991. He was an avid antique toy collector in New Hampshire, where he created a special home named "The Kids Place." He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Stevens, Seymour,Ct., Jody Stevens, Oxford,Ct., two daughters, Donna Stevens-Jacobs, Southbury,Ct., Deirdre Kozma, Oxford,Ct., eleven grandchildren; two sisters Emma Lynch, Avondale,AZ, Alice Rothe, Albermarle, NC; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his son, Fred Stevens.
